The Most Arbitrary Wizard

Chapter 215 - 121: "More Friends Are Coming?

Tony had invented the name "Catherine" on the spot. His goal was to inform Agivis that there would be a woman among the friends arriving later. It didn’t matter whether she actually existed—Agivis would never meet her. The lie was just to give Agivis a heads-up, paving the way for Sean and Eleanor, who might need their help later.

Tony really was a meticulous man.

That is, until he heard Agivis ask in surprise, "My Lord, you have *other* friends coming?"

Tony let out a soft chuckle and joked, "Why? Does Mr. Agivis not welcome them?"

"Not at all, not at all," Agivis said quickly. "Your friends are friends of the Little Gista Family. Of course they’re welcome."

He chuckled and said, "It’s just that the other lord mentioned earlier that a few friends might be coming over. I assumed you’d all be arriving together."

It was only then that Tony understood. The key part of Agivis’s question—"you have *other* friends coming?"—wasn’t "friends," but "other." Someone else had told Agivis the exact same thing!

In that instant, the smile on Tony’s face froze.

’What does he mean?’

’Who is this "other lord"?’

Due to his "identity," he couldn’t just ask about the Blazing Angel Family directly. He had to be vague. "Have they arrived already?" he asked.

"They have," Agivis replied with a smile. "Those two lords arrived first thing this morning. They’re resting in the VIP room right now."

This time, it was more than just Tony’s smile that froze.

A cold sweat broke out on his back.

’Members of the Blazing Angel Family actually beat us to Eve Mansion?!’

’Oh, crap!’

’If we walk into that VIP room and meet the *real* members of the Blazing Angel Family, won’t our cover be blown instantly?’

Ryan also realized how bad the situation was. He frowned, clutched his stomach, and said, "Hold on."

"What is it, My Lord? Are you not feeling well?" Agivis asked, concerned.

Ryan gave a slight nod. "I think I ate something that disagreed with me last night. I need to use the restroom... Where’s the nearest one?"

He already knew where it was, but he had to ask.

He never expected Agivis to give him an answer that offered no escape: "In the VIP room."

They had been chatting as they walked upstairs and had already reached the third floor. The VIP room was right in front of them.

Ryan: "..."

The air was suddenly dead silent.

That expensive, black wooden door seemed to lead not to a private suite, but to Heaven. The sight of it weighed on them like a mountain.

"I’ll remember the way," Johnson said, immediately turning to leave. "I’m going to get Miss Catherine."

Kave shot Tony and Ryan a "you’re on your own" look and promptly made himself scarce.

’He’d said all along it wouldn’t be this easy. And now look, they were about to come face-to-face with the very people they were impersonating...’

’Time for everyone to fend for themselves!’

’This wasn’t selling out his teammates.’

’It was the kind of love that means letting go.’

Thanks to Tony’s "orders," the departure of Kave and Johnson seemed perfectly natural, and Agivis didn’t question it. But for the two "masters," leaving wasn’t going to be so easy.

Agivis might be all smiles and deference now, but that was only because of their "noble status." The moment he realized something was amiss, his attitude would change in a heartbeat.

Nobles all had two faces: one for their superiors, and one for everyone else. Having frequently gone on missions and dealt with the Church Court, they knew this all too well.

They had no choice but to bite the bullet.

Tony and Ryan exchanged a look. Each of them already had a Spell on the tip of their tongue, ready to make a run for it.

Both of them were extremely nervous. This was enemy territory, after all. If a fight broke out, they would surely be at a disadvantage. They had to strike by surprise and get out fast.

The best time to use Bursting Qi would be the moment Agivis opened the door, when his attention wouldn’t be on them. So, the two of them lowered their heads and silently followed Agivis as he approached the suite.

The shadows on their faces reflected their darkening mood as they prepared to act.

However, when Agivis actually pushed the door open, the Spells they had prepared died on their lips.

"My Lord, your friends are here," Agivis said respectfully.

The young man sitting on the sofa let out a sound of surprise. "That was fast."

The voice sounded incredibly familiar to Tony and Ryan. They looked up.

"???"

’Sean?!’
