"There were about 1,800 people in the entire port."
"As you commanded, we killed them all. Not a single one was left."
"We were fortunate enough to complete our mission, Master."
Elise wore a sweet smile, reporting the results of the battle to Sean with a mix of respect and playfulness.
This left Sean completely speechless.
'Of course, it's good that they're all dead.'
'But why is she calling me Master??'
He quickly tried to stop the two young women. "Hey, cut it out! You can't just joke around like that. It's bad for your reputations!"
It would damage the Eleanor Sisters' reputations, and his own.
They were clearly friends, so why insist on calling him Master? Anyone who didn't know better would think he had some kind of illicit relationship with the Eleanor Sisters.
But Elise just blinked and looked at him. "We're not joking. You are our Master."
Sean: "?"
"No, wait. When did this happen? How come I don't know about it?"
Feeling inexplicably guilty, he glanced around and saw that the expressions on Elise and the others had changed.
At first, when the Eleanor Sisters displayed their power, their eyes held shock. When the sisters approached, that shock turned to vigilance.
But after hearing the Eleanor Sisters call him "Master," that vigilance morphed into profound, uncertain suspicion.
Yisha's eyes went wide, and she covered her gaping mouth.
'Did I hear that right?'
'Such powerful Grand Mages are actually my teacher's maids...??'
Elise also stared at Sean, stunned.
This man had gone from a "mortal" to a Wizard, broken through from Tier One to Tier Two, and then from Tier Two to his current Tier Three... She and Elvire had practically "raised" him, and they had never heard of Sean having any maids.
Let alone maids at the Great Mage Level.
They had assumed the two women turned on their allies because of some personal grudge against Robert. But it turned out they were on their side all along. Or perhaps... the Eleanor Sisters were actually a secret trump card Sean had planted deep within the Florist Family?
That would explain the Eleanor Sisters' actions.
But that raised another question.
Never mind that since becoming a Wizard, Sean had barely left their sight. Even if he had snuck out for a wild adventure behind their backs, how could he have reaped such a bountiful harvest?
These twin sisters were genuine Grand Mages!
And Sean was only Tier Three.
How?
Why would the Eleanor Sisters willingly follow a Tier Three like Sean, obey his orders, and serve him?
Kate had a good idea of where the Eleanor Sisters came from.
It was almost certainly the "New World."
But the "New World" origin only made him more confused.
'Weren't we supposed to be Holy Temple Remnants, enemies of the entire world?'
'Sopea and I went in twice and got beaten up by Grand Mages. How come when Sean does it, not only does he not get beaten up, he actually recruits Grand Mages as his own maids...'
Kate: "???"
'Does this make any sense?'
Only Sopea, his eyes narrowed, truly saw through it all.
'From a Tier perspective, it's impossible for Sean to have subdued the Eleanor Sisters. That much is certain.'
'From a looks perspective... that's not very likely either.'
'They're Grand Mages, after all.'
'If the Eleanor Sisters were truly captivated by Sean's beauty, they could have just kidnapped him. No one here could stop them. They could have forced Sean to serve them, rather than the other way around.'
'So there's only one possibility.'
'Sean's identity has been "exposed".'
'The Eleanor Sisters already know that Sean is Lord Blake.'
At this thought, a deep sense of crisis welled up inside Sopea.
He and Koni were the first to learn Sean's identity—the only ones who knew. Sopea had always considered himself Lord Blake's number one guardian in this life. But now, two maids had appeared who also knew Sean's identity, and these two maids were Grand Mages...
Sopea felt his position was in jeopardy.
This made him narrow his eyes even further as he looked at the Eleanor Sisters. His eyes were already small, and when he squinted, they practically became a single slit. The gaze that squeezed out from this slit was filled with the hostility of a "class struggle."
That, however, was nothing.
After all, Sopea wasn't looking at Sean, so Sean didn't notice. The most terrifying thing was the gaze stabbing him from the side, which felt like being pricked by a needle. He turned his head and, sure enough, saw Elvire's eyes, which looked just like a pie chart.
Four parts shock, three parts murderous intent, two parts struggling to remain calm, and one part a profound mystery containing a whole other pie chart.
"Sean, you'd better give me a reasonable explanation."
Elvire practically squeezed these words out through gritted teeth.
Seeing this, Sean's heart screamed that he was in deep trouble.
'He wanted to explain.'
'This really had nothing to do with him.'
'But the problem was, he didn't know what was going on either, so how could he possibly explain?'
Elise, however, was not pleased to hear Elvire's words.
Initially, seeing how beautiful Elvire was, her first impression had been quite good. Girls like pretty girls too; that's not a right exclusive to men. Based on looks alone, Elise would have given Elvire a 9 out of 10. The missing point was due to the natural rivalry and hostility between girls, much like the innate competitive drive between men.
But the moment Elvire spoke, that near-perfect score plummeted into the negatives.
'What kind of attitude is that!'
'A mere Tier Six dares to speak to our Master like that?'
Elise's gaze turned hostile. "Miss, please watch your words and actions."
