When Azrael returned to his mansion, he found Gaya and Olivia waiting for him.
As soon as he entered, he told them everything that had happened at the Infinite Races Guild branch—from infiltrating the treasury and emptying it completely to fighting the old man, killing him, and leaving the entire palace in ruins.
Gaya listened in silence.
Olivia remained calm, but even she could not completely hide the astonishment on her face.
When Azrael finished recounting the events, Gaya remained speechless for several moments.
She knew that Azrael was powerful.
But she had never expected him to infiltrate a branch of the Infinite Races Guild, empty its treasury, kill one of its guardians, and then leave as though nothing had happened.
Once she finally recovered from her shock, Gaya quickly began gathering her belongings.
There was no time to remain in Radiance City.
The three of them immediately left the city and headed toward Moonfall City, the main city of the Foyd Duchy.
Azrael had already made up his mind.
He would repeat what he had done in Radiance City.
First, he would gather information by reading the city's public library.
Then he would learn everything he could about the Foyd Duchy, its factions, its strength, and its most important figures.
And after that...
He would raid another branch of the Infinite Races Guild.
However, Azrael had not yet checked exactly how much he had gained from his previous robbery.
During their journey, the thought suddenly occurred to him.
He had obtained an enormous amount of treasures, beast cores, and cultivation resources, yet he had not even found the time to inspect his storage and determine the exact size of his spoils.
After several hours of flying, the three stopped in a wilderness area to have a meal.
Naturally, Azrael no longer needed food to survive at his current level.
The same was true for Gaya, who had also begun relying on spiritual energy rather than food to sustain her body.
However, eating had become a habit for Azrael.
After spending months living in the wilderness, hunting, lighting campfires, and eating beast meat, food had become part of his routine—even though he no longer needed it.
The three sat around the fire and ate peacefully.
When they finished, Azrael told them about his next plan.
He spoke simply:
"We'll do the same thing in Moonfall City."
Gaya stopped moving for a moment.
Olivia stared at him in silence.
Then the two women exchanged a meaningful glance.
They were thinking the same thing.
It was becoming a habit.
Whenever Azrael arrived in a new city, he would read its library...
Then search for a branch of the Infinite Races Guild...
And finally, he would rob its treasury.
Gaya was beginning to worry that raiding the guild might become a permanent hobby for Azrael.
As for Olivia, who had lived for hundreds of thousands of years, she was beginning to wonder whether the Infinite Races Guild would even continue to exist if Azrael kept following this pattern.
Azrael, however, paid little attention to their expressions.
He was already thinking about how many resources he could obtain from the next branch.
After several more days of travel, Moonfall City finally began to come into view.
The three were flying through the sky when they noticed something happening on the ground below.
A luxurious carriage stood in the middle of a wilderness area.
Several soldiers at the Spiritual Warrior Realm surrounded it, fighting against a group of masked men.
The attackers greatly outnumbered the soldiers.
The battle was also clearly going in one direction.
The soldiers were continuously retreating as the masked men pressed their advantage.
Azrael and Gaya approached the area but did not immediately intervene.
They stopped in the sky and watched the battle from above.
Several minutes passed.
The soldiers fought desperately, but it was becoming obvious that they would not last much longer.
In the middle of the battle, one of the soldiers happened to raise his head.
He saw two figures hovering in the sky above him.
His eyes widened.
The moment he realized that they were cultivators capable of flight, a spark of hope appeared in his eyes.
Gathering what remained of his strength, he shouted at the top of his lungs:
"Sirs! Please help us!"
Azrael and Gaya exchanged glances.
Azrael said nothing.
But Gaya understood what his silence meant.
She calmly raised one hand.
Suddenly—
WHOOSH!
Several beams of light descended from the sky.
They tore through the battlefield at incredible speed.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The masked men fell one after another.
Despite their superior numbers, their cultivation was only at the Spiritual Warrior Realm, so they had absolutely no ability to resist Gaya's attacks.
Within moments, the battle was over.
The soldiers stood there in stunned silence.
They stared at Gaya as though they were looking at something unbelievable.
One of them then looked toward the sky and, seeing her ability to fly, immediately concluded that she had reached at least the Spiritual Lord Realm.
As far as they knew, flying through the sky was an ability that only cultivators at the Spiritual Lord Realm or above could possess.
For that reason, none of them dared to underestimate Gaya any longer.
