"A-Are these really my stats?" Adam’s voice shook as he looked at the stats displayed before his eyes. "Just what kind of system have I awakened?"

His heart thundered like war drums as he continued to stare at his stats. They were beyond anything someone at the First Realm should possess. Way, way beyond. Newly awakened humans usually began their advancement with stats ranging in the late twenties to the early thirties.

And thirty was already being generous. Adam had pushed his training since he was a child until he peaked at twenty stat points across the board.

But this... this was beyond common. It was unheard of.

’No wonder it said to keep this to myself.’ Adam swallowed hard, his thoughts in disarray. ’Three times normal...’

His gaze shifted towards the texts higher, settling on his physique.

With a thought, he selected the physique, the description coming up promptly. And as he read through the description, his heart could not find purchase, too shocked to believe what he was reading.

He did not even know what Mythic meant, but that hardly mattered. With how absurd his physique was, the rank was all but forgotten. With a heavy gulp, he looked at his unique skill next.

At this point, Adam was already breathing heavily. The more he read, the more his heart threatened to jump out of his chest. His hands were shaking!

Too shocked to speak, he could only cry out within. What he had awakened was a cheat!

How was anyone supposed to compete with a skill like this?! His physique was already absurd to begin with. Couple it with this unique skill, and he was basically untouchable to those within the same realm!

And this broken unique skill had the audacity to say it had limitations!?

Adam could not see how those were limitations. He already knew a little martial arts from his father. Now the unique skill was telling him he could master it a lot faster while improving it further.

’And it’s not limited to martial arts and skills either. Even technology and languages are not spared.’ Adam could not help but swallow again. ’No wonder... no wonder the system advised me to keep it to myself.’

This unique skill of his had a lot more to offer, but Adam’s thought process had slowed. The shock factor was simply too much for even his newly evolved brain and intelligence to process every possible facet of this skill.

It was like a one-for-all package deal; a deal too good to be true. Only that it was true. This was his awakened skill; his unique skill. It was only meant for him.

He now had the ability to read his opponents and every other action while simultaneously analyzing them to exploit obvious and hidden flaws. He could literally watch a sword master and identify flaws even they hadn’t noticed. Sure, it would take time, but it was a small price to pay to decipher everything.

’Huu... this is just insane.’

Adam had to admit he was overwhelmed by everything he was seeing. Today was supposed to be a day for a simple awakening; his sixteenth birthday. It was supposed to be something so common it had lost its specialness.

And yet...

He was already dreading what he would find under his affinity. An affinity revealed what a person was most attuned to. It could be elemental or even conceptual, like gravity and space. It could even be something as abstract as emotions.

But looking at what he already had, Adam could tell it would complement his physique and unique skill to a fault. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves before shifting his attention to his affinity.

’Primordial!’ Adam quickly noticed the rank, his anticipation already through the roof. ’This should even be higher than Mythic.’

His eyes slowly shifted to the description below, and what he read left him thunderstruck. The affinity was simply too overpowered!
