"How strong is she?" Leon asked with a calm look in his dark eyes.

Mark couldn’t understand why, but looking at Leon’s eyes made him feel relaxed and slightly confident.

’Does he have a solution?’

He didn’t ask the question but answered Leon.

"She’s Tier Two at present. If it weren’t for the Camp Leader being Tier Two also, this place might have ceased to exist."

Leon slowly nodded, already trying to gauge how difficult it would be to subdue the granny zombie without killing her.

"As long as she isn’t Tier Three, it should be possible to capture her."

Mark was surprised, reevaluating Leon’s team again. None of them were Tier Two yet. Why did he sound so confident?

’Perhaps they can subdue Tier Two if they work together,’ He thought, settling with that explanation as it made sense.

"I know you’re doing this for Cassie, but I once again have to thank you. After all, I’ve been the one stopping the Camp Leader from killing her. If I don’t manage to succeed and restrain her, this camp might be wiped out because of my selfishness."

Leon shook his head. "You don’t need to say all that. I can imagine what it feels like seeing your family member as a zombie."

Before Mark could say anything else, they all heard a sharp knock on the door, and the door was quickly opened by a maid.

A powerful Tier One Evolver stepped inside, his stern gaze sweeping across everyone present in the living room.

"Captain Mark. You didn’t tell us you’d be having ’these’ visitors."

His gaze paused on Leon, and he placed emphasis on the word ’these’.

Mark immediately stood up to explain, his tone full of respect. "Ah, Vice-leader, I just found them by luck, and my daughter is in their group. They’re all my daughter’s friends."

The man’s expression softened slightly, and he looked at Mark with narrowed eyes.

"Your daughter? You’ve found her?"

He was also aware of how much Mark spoke about his daughter, so the mention of the girl made his suspicion lessen slightly.

Mark nodded, a large smile on his face. "Yes, yes. She’s upstairs catching up with her mother and brother."

"Oh, I see," The Vice-leader’s suspicion lessened, but didn’t disappear completely.

He still didn’t think it was a coincidence.

Glancing at Leon’s group, he said, "The Leader asks that you come visit her soon. And you should bring these... friends with you."

Mark nodded with a serious expression, as he had predicted that this would happen.

The Vice-leader stepped out of the building, then headed back to the command center. Before leaving Mark’s private area, he looked at the sizable army in black that stood rigid around the perimeters.

’These people definitely aren’t ordinary.’

Meanwhile, back in the mansion, as soon as the man left, Leon turned to Mark.

"What’s his name? He seems very strong... and loyal."

Mark sighed and explained. "That’s Sir Arnold. He’s a retired soldier that was betrayed by his teammates. But before he could be killed, the leader intervened and prevented him from dying. Ever since then, he has sworn his loyalty to her and would willingly lay down his life even if she wanted to turn against the government."

Hearing the last part of his words, Gwen’s eyes narrowed, and her lips curled slightly.

’So it’s like that, huh. No wonder...’

Leon was satisfied with the explanation and nodded. "In that case, when do you want to take us to meet your leader?"

Mark stood up. "Give me a moment to get Cassie."

He immediately went upstairs, leaving his squad members together with Leon’s team.

Eric immediately opened his mouth and asked, "Which area did you guys come from? Staten Island is dangerous since no one we’ve ever sent there came back. It can’t be from that place, right?"

Being reminded of Staten Island, everyone in Leon’s group tensed slightly.

Leon exhaled, sounding exhausted. "We’re not from Staten Island, but we did pass through that place. Honestly, I understand why whoever you sent there didn’t come back."

Eric, Rose, and Logan stared in disbelief.

Rose asked with a frown, "Is that place filled with zombies or something? Or is it a powerful mutated beast?"

Gwen shook her head and answered, "You probably wouldn’t want to know."

The three squad members kept their curiosity in check, not bothering to ask any further questions. If asking alone made Leon’s group uncomfortable, they could already tell that it must have been a nightmarish encounter.

Soon, Mark returned with Cassie and the rest of his family.

"Leon, so you want to bring everyone with you?"

He asked, glancing at the others who sat with him..

"No, not everyone," Leon answered. "Selene, Gwen, let’s go. The rest should stay behind."

Although Reymond was a little displeased that he was being exempted, he didn’t complain. He merely watched them go before turning to look at Miguel, his lips curling.

Meanwhile, Mark led Leon, Cassie, Selene, and Gwen to the command center of the camp where the leader and highest authorities resided.

"Oh? This place looks quite magnificent," Leon remarked as he admired the buildings around them.

It felt like visiting a museum, with every building decorated with elaborate artwork that gave the entire area a mysterious atmosphere.

"Haha, our leader is a woman who appreciates such things," Mark answered, a broad smile on his face.

"Now, I’m even more curious about this woman," Gwen muttered with a curious glint in her eyes.

Soon, they arrived before what appeared to be a meeting hall, and Mark spoke with the guards standing outside. A few seconds later, the double doors opened, and they were allowed to enter.

At the head of the conference table stood a woman with a sharp buzz cut and a muscular physique. She wasn’t particularly beautiful, yet something about her presence made the room feel smaller. She simply stood there, but her presence carried the quiet authority of someone accustomed to being obeyed.

Leon’s eyes narrowed. ’A muscle mommy? Miguel might be interested. Too bad I didn’t invite him.’

Mark stepped forward and greeted the woman with a voice full of respect.

"Good morning, Leader Bliss."
