The wheel stood at the center of the clearing, tall, imposing, and immovable. Its size dwarfed that of a bronze-grade wheel, but only by a slight margin.

The pale green metal surface reflected the sunlight, highlighting the intricate patterns drawn on its eight sectors.

"As far as I know, these eight sectors represent the different kinds of classes you might get," Bliss explained as she gestured at the wheel. "That one is the combat-oriented class sector, and next to it is the divination class sector. The last one at this end is the utility class sector. As for the others, I have no idea."

Leon studied the runes, then asked, "So you got a divination class from it?"

Bliss paused, briefly considering whether she should answer truthfully or not. In the end, she decided to be honest.

"Yes, we did. However, the skills can only allow a person to peer into the past and not the future. Perhaps it’s only useful for investigation."

Leon nodded slowly, then handed three Tier Two crystals to her. "Here’s payment for the three of us."

Bliss’s eyes widened. "Three of you? That’ll earn you nine slots in total but..."

She fell silent and decided to watch. Could it be... that he had more?

Leon turned to Gwen and gave her three crystals, then handed Selene two crystals.

"Wow, you’re so stingy," She complained with a mock scowl.

Leon rolled his eyes and gestured at the wheel. "I know you have a few on you already. Don’t try to play innocent."

Selene chuckled, then walked over to the wheel. From her pocket, she took out two more crystals, causing Bliss to take in a sharp breath.

’Ten... that makes it ten now...’

Unaware that she had given someone a mental shock, Selene inserted the first crystal into the machine.

Having managed to regain her composure, Bliss gave the order for the machine to activate.

As expected, the wheel began to spin sharply, and approximately twenty seconds later, it slowed to a crawl, then stopped.

[Congratulations! You have received a Tier Two Water Mage Class!]

Selene’s eyes narrowed as she held the white scroll in her hand.

Her first try was particularly good, and even she felt a little impressed.

Curious, she checked its details.

[Tier Two Class - Water Mage]

’Huh?’

To her dismay, only the name was displayed, and none of the skills attached were shown. She immediately turned to Bliss with a sharp look in her eyes.

Understanding her, Bliss smiled bitterly. "It’s just the same. You can only choose classes by their names. Until you pick it, you can’t know the skills."

Selene closed her eyes and nodded. Then, she inserted the next soul crystal. Having received permission from Bliss again, the wheel activated.

It spun swiftly for twenty seconds before stopping.

[Congratulations! You have received a Tier Two Professional Tailor Class!]

Selene’s expression darkened, and she almost crushed the scroll in her grip. Leon walked over, curious.

Without him even asking, she handed it to him. Once Leon checked it, he blinked and sized her up.

He tried to picture it. Her sitting behind a sewing machine with a serious expression.

The image broke his composure, and he burst into laughter.

"Idiot," Selene scolded, moving forward to insert another crystal.

Once again, the wheel spun and stopped after twenty seconds.

[Congratulations! You have received a Tier Two Herbalist Class!]

Her eyes narrowed, and she gritted her teeth. From the three tries that she had, only the first one had been useful.

She clicked her tongue and handed the other two to Leon for him to keep. He smiled and accepted, sending them into his storage ring.

Bliss’s eyes narrowed as she looked at the ring, and she finally realized it was a spatial storage.

Once again, she couldn’t help but take a deep breath, amazed by all she was seeing.

Gwen went up next, using her three tries one after the other. Her luck was quite good, as her first draw actually landed on a divination class.

The next one was a utility class, though—Tea Master.

Leon patted her shoulder encouragingly. "Don’t worry, it’s still good. I can hire you as my personal tea maker. The pay will be high."

"You’re really an idiot." She pouted and inserted the last crystal.

Again, it landed on a utility class—Archivist. This time, Gwen smiled. After all, she could already guess what the class entailed and the benefits it would give her.

She quietly handed it to Leon and stepped back.

Finally, it was his turn. With a serious expression, he approached the wheel and inserted the first crystal.

After the wheel stopped spinning, a white scroll appeared before him, and he grabbed it.

[Congratulations! You have received a Tier Two Master Fisherman Class!]

Leon’s expression stiffened, and he looked at the wheel with hatred. Why was his own first try so terrible?

’Fishing? Fisherman? Really?’

Selene stepped forward and gracefully took the scroll from his hand. After checking it, she smiled faintly and patted his shoulder.

"This is good. With you traveling with us, we can finally eat fish."

Leon rolled his eyes and retorted. "Sure, you’ll be the bait, anyway."

Selene’s eyelashes fluttered, and she looked at him with a mock frightened expression.

"Kyaa~ You’re so cruel..."

Leon stared at her in disbelief, not knowing what to say. He didn’t know she could make such expressions, and even Gwen was surprised. In the end, he settled for a sigh.

"What a strange woman."

Selene smiled but didn’t retort to his statement.

He inserted another crystal into the wheel, and it began spinning again. After a while, it stopped, and a white scroll appeared before Leon.

[Congratulations! You have received a Tier Two War Cartographer Class!]

’Cartographer? Hmm... seems useful.’

His eyes narrowed, and he handed it to Selene without saying anything. The young lady checked the scroll, then handed it to her friend.

"Not bad," She said curtly.

Gwen also checked and immediately became interested. "This would either be good for me or Marie."

Leon agreed with her, sending it into his storage ring. Then, he inserted another crystal.

[Congratulations! You have received a Tier Two Predator Class!]

’Predator? Nice!’

He immediately kept it without showing Selene, choosing to be mysterious about it.

Once he was done, he turned to Cassie. "Do you want to try too?"

Hearing this, Bliss almost stumbled in shock. ’How many Tier Two crystals does he have?!’

Counting everything that had been spent, she couldn’t help but feel a little frightened. Were they really Tier One? Or could they all be Tier Two?

’And where the hell did they find that many Tier Two creatures?!’

Her questions remained unanswered, though, since she didn’t voice them out.

"No," Cassie replied calmly.

She knew he still had some more crystals on him, but she didn’t want to waste them.

"Alright," Leon nodded, then turned to Bliss. "Don’t you want to try too? That’s why you collected payment from us, no?"
