Leon calmly watched as the Stone Behemoth zombies walked towards the frontline.

He took a step forward, then blurred. Before anyone could process his speed, he appeared before one of the zombies, his spear already touching its head.

Bang!

The head exploded into flesh, blood, and rotten brain matter. He covered himself with a shadow shroud, preventing his body from being stained by the gore.

As much as he didn’t mind being covered in blood, zombie blood was a negative for him.

Seeing Leon easily deal with one of the zombies, Miguel’s heart burned, and he charged at another.

The remaining three zombies were not foolish. After seeing their comrades die, they also understood their weakness.

The one targeted by Miguel immediately crossed its hands before its head in defense.

Miguel sneered and changed target. At the same time as he activated Impact Echo, he used his unique Class skill—Break.

BANG!

The zombie’s torso folded inward, and it was launched far back into the horde. Miguel stumbled slightly, panting from exhaustion.

"It didn’t die? I guess their head is the only real weakness."

He quickly cleared the zombies around him, then turned to look at the remaining two zombies.

With widened eyes, he managed to catch sight of them falling to the ground—dead.

’Goodness! Boss is so strong!’

"Miguel, pull back."

He didn’t hesitate to respond to that seemingly indifferent voice, extricating himself from the horde and returning to the human side of the battlefield.

The Titanbreaker Legion was still crushing the zombies and forcing them back. However, even they were starting to get tired, and injuries were already accumulating.

Leon was tempted to use Darkness Descent again and commit a mass killing. However, Bliss appeared beside him and stopped him.

"Let me handle this."

Leon nodded and gave the command, "Fall back!"

The Titanbreaker Legion responded obediently, retreating from the frontlines and finally allowing the zombies to charge forward.

Bliss took their position, placing herself between the horde and the warriors.

A breath escaped her lips, and she suddenly felt exhausted. The tiny breath soon became visible, rolling like a ball of air. Soon, it pulled more air, expanding greatly. By the time the zombies reached her, a huge tornado blocked their path.

Mindless as ever, the zombies rushed in. They were immediately pulled into the tornado, and in a few seconds, they were torn apart.

Bliss slowly spread her hands and made a weak, pushing motion.

Her body swayed lightly, and she bit her lip to steady herself.

Miguel instinctively supported her with a hand to her back. Feeling those firm muscles, he was a little amazed.

However, that wasn’t his focus currently. His eyes shifted back to the raging tornado that tore through the zombie horde, grinding hundreds of them to death in just a few seconds.

The tornado continued to expand, eventually encompassing the whole street with its base alone.

Leon raised an eyebrow. So this was the strength of a Tier Two Evolver?

’This woman isn’t weak. Again, I shouldn’t underestimate Tier Two beings—human, beasts, or zombies.’

That didn’t mean he couldn’t beat them, though. At this level, only Tier Three creatures could pose a real threat to his life.

He didn’t continue that line of thought, merely observing the tornado as it rolled into the distance, clearing more zombies.

Finally, after three minutes, the tornado dispersed. After all, it wasn’t a natural phenomenon but one created from Bliss’s mana and skill.

The young woman leaned against Miguel for support. She was genuinely tired, as the skill cost her a lot to use.

Leon’s indifferent voice came from behind. "Miguel, help her back into the bus. I’ll handle the clearing."

The shadows moved again, pulling the corpses away from the street while also digging up the soul crystals of the Tier One zombies.

Leon also approached the Stone Behemoth corpses, sneakily taking their abilities for himself.

With over a hundred hands, he quickly cleared the street. The Titanbreaker Legion entered their respective buses to rest after receiving healing from Fel.

"Move out!"

Their bloody journey continued.

The zombie horde was persistent. Even after several hundred thousand had died, they still rushed towards the humans.

Leon didn’t bother engaging in melee. With a cold snort, he casually used Darkness Descent again, reducing his mana reserves to half.

Within the dome, all kinds of shadow weapons manifested, committing mass murder against the zombies. No sound reached the outside, and the only thing they all saw after the dome disappeared was a field of butchered corpses.

Once again, Leon cleared the road ahead, allowing them to drive forward again. He leisurely sat on the roof of the lead bus, taking his time to eat a plate of grilled Tier Two mutated chicken.

Soon, they were forced to stop again when the zombie horde blocked their path forward.

Leon immediately deployed the Titanbreaker Legion. Having recovered well enough, the warriors fought bravely and with vigor. They decimated the zombies easily, stepping over the corpses to reach the others and do the same to them.

Selene quietly appeared beside Leon. "At this rate, they will all roll into Level 40 once their evolution requirements have been completed."

Leon turned to her and grinned. "You noticed what I was doing, huh? But why Level 40? Why not Level 50?"

Selene stared at him in surprise. "You madman."

Leon laughed and turned back to paying attention to the battle. They continued to move forward at a slow pace, with the zombies being driven back despite their overwhelming numbers.

After a while, he asked the young lady beside him, "Do you have any AOE skills or abilities?"

Selene pondered, then nodded. "Why? I doubt it would help much, though."

"It will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back," He said confidently, then explained. "The Zombie King here isn’t just an ordinary Zombie King. It’s a Brain Zombie King, so it’s smarter."

"How did you know?" She turned to him curiously.

Leon shrugged. "It would have appeared by now if it was strong enough to face us. But it isn’t. Also, it’s being cautious. And that is why it hasn’t sent any Tier Two to face us."

Selene slowly nodded, then turned back to the raging battle.

"You’re not aiming to wipe them out. You want to intimidate the horde."

Leon smiled thinly, his eyes cold. "You’re smart. I like that."

"As I said, you’re a madman," Selene retorted harshly, though a small smile played at her lips.
