"Oh... Hello, Trinity," Damien greeted with a polite smile.

The three young people—a guy and two girls—turned to him with lofty looks in their eyes.

"Ah, Damien. Have you finally seen your cousin? It’s been a few days and she hasn’t arrived. Maybe you should go out there to look for her," One of the girls said with mirth dripping in her voice.

"Ahem," Damien cleared his throat. "You don’t need to worry. I already found my cousin."

The three siblings froze, then looked at the person standing beside him. They had initially ignored Gwen, thinking she was just one random girl who Damien had picked up out of sympathy.

Aisha, the girl who had spoken earlier, looked at Gwen curiously. "Is that really Donald’s granddaughter? I didn’t know she was blind."

Damien’s eyes narrowed. "You’re calling Gramps by his name? You’re really a rude one. And don’t you dare insult Gwen."

Ahmed immediately defended his sister. "What are you talking about? We’re not insulting her. We’re only stating the obvious."

Gwen smiled at them and said, "Ah... you might be misunderstanding it. I’m not blind. I can see the three of you perfectly."

"Huh?"

The siblings were surprised and confused.

Aliyah, the one who had been silent all along, finally spoke. "Then why are you covering your eyes? Are they too beautiful for us to see?"

Her tone sounded neutral, but anyone perceptive enough wouldn’t miss the sarcasm in it.

Gwen’s smile didn’t fade. "I have my reasons. Sorry I can’t tell you."

Aliyah looked displeased, but didn’t say anything again.

Unwilling to let the matter go that easily, her sister immediately spoke up. "Or could it be that a monster spat acid on your face so it looks ugly?"

From behind, Leon sighed and asked, "Damien. Who are these brats?"

The young man turned to him. "Uh... they’re actually the mayor’s children."

"And what is the position of the mayor here?" Leon asked further.

"He’s the leader of the council governing the camp," Damien answered, causing the three siblings to lift their chins in the air.

"Ah, I see." Leon nodded. "Novels really don’t lie about humans."

Ahmed’s eyes narrowed in displeasure, and he growled. "Hey, mongrel. Watch your mouth. What do you mean by what you just said?"

Leon completely ignored him while Selene spoke to Damien next.

"I want to know more about the necromancer you mentioned earlier. Who is it?"

Damien was a little surprised, but still answered and gestured at Ahmed. "It’s this guy."

Selene’s gaze turned to him, and he stiffened. A look of admiration appeared in his eyes, but he immediately controlled his expression and stood with confidence.

"Why do you want to know more about me, beautiful?"

A small smirk played at his lips as he spoke.

Selene shook her head and ignored him.

Annoyed, he stepped forward aggressively. However, the soldier behind them immediately stopped him and whispered in his ear.

"If I’m correct, that young lady is a direct descendant of the White Family’s Family Head. Don’t misbehave."

Ahmed’s expression cooled, and he immediately tried to form a smile.

"Well, regardless of what you need me for, I’m always ready to help you. You can just come and find me in my house."

He winked at her, but Selene wasn’t even paying attention.

Damien quickly took control of the conversation. "We’ll be on our way now. See you guys around."

Ahmed nodded and watched them walk past him. When they were almost out of his sight, he finally saw Fel who had stayed at the back, hidden from everyone.

His eyes widened. ’Damn. Those are massive!’

His manhood became his brain for a moment, and his thoughts went wild. He had played with several girls before, but something about Fel’s demeanor ignited a possessive flame in his heart.

He immediately turned and grabbed her hand before she could leave with them.

He had barely held her when an iron-like grip held his wrist, and he winced.

The soldier accompanying them reacted immediately, placing his sword against Leon’s neck.

"Let him go," He said, his voice gruff.

Leon ignored him entirely, his gaze locked with Ahmed. "What are you trying to do?"

Ahmed winced again as he felt the grip tightening. "You...! Who do you think you are?! Let go of me in this instant!"

Leon turned a deaf ear to his words. Instead, he pried away Ahmed’s hand from Fel’s wrist, then released him.

He then glanced at the blade still resting on his shoulder. "Remove that."

The soldier’s eyes narrowed, but he still complied.

"You bastard! Do you think you can hurt my brother and get away with it?!" Aisha cried out after seeing her brother’s reddened wrist and his pained expression.

Leon gave her a flat look and said, "Do you want me to hurt you too?"

Aisha immediately shrank back, and Leon ignored her again. Holding Fel’s hand, he walked away with the others.

Once they were gone, Aisha glared at the soldier standing idly. "Why didn’t you attack him? He hurt Ahmed!"

The man calmly replied, "Ahmed’s actions were excessive. Again, not everyone is a toy you can claim in the market. Also, they are all strong Evolvers, so don’t think of messing with them in the future."

The expressions of the three siblings changed, and they all looked in the direction where Damien and the others had gone.

"Tch. Let’s go."

Ahmed scowled and turned around, still rubbing his wrist. Deep down, he hadn’t let the matter go. He had concluded that Leon was Fel’s boyfriend, which was why he was being protective of her.

’Heh! Just you wait! I’ll cuck you and make you watch as I take that slut!’

Meanwhile, Damien ended the tour there and led them back to his own apartment.

"Are the higher-ups of this camp really that lax? I don’t think the mayor’s kids would be this... untrained." Gwen shook her head and sighed.

Bliss folded her arms and said, "The man himself is rotten. I expect nothing less from his children. It’s a good thing they have that soldier with them. He seems to be the one restraining them from going too far."

Leon finally released Fel’s hand and turned to her.

"Are you alright?"
