At first, Evan was confused after seeing the information, but then he remembered what he had heard from his grandparents.
’So that’s what they meant...’ He muttered inwardly, a look of understanding flashing in his eyes.
When the difference in power between a monster and an Evolver wasn’t too great, an Evolver could see some basic information about the monster while fighting inside a dungeon.
Evan read the information about the skeletons and didn’t feel any threat from them.
After killing the Silver Bear, his strength had increased by a considerable amount, so he wasn’t worried about facing unranked monsters, even without using mana.
Evan tightened his grip around the Black Star and dashed toward the skeletons.
His speed was extremely fast even without using Wind Aura. After killing the Silver Bear, he had received a huge boost to his Agility, and currently, his Agility stat was already over 180.
Before the skeletons could even react, Evan reached them and swung the Black Star.
Because of his increased Strength and the swordsmanship he had gained from Basic Sword Art, his sword sliced through the skeletons as easily as cutting through mud.
The skeletons tried to attack Evan, but his speed was simply too high. Before they could even react, their bodies were torn apart, and one skeleton after another collapsed into piles of white bones.
Within a single minute, Evan had killed all the skeletons without using any mana.
Even Evan was surprised by his own strength, but soon, a smile appeared on his face.
"Looks like I can fulfill the first requirement pretty easily here."
His first requirement was to kill 100 unranked enemies without using mana, and he had already completed one-fourth of his target without facing any difficulties.
After killing all the skeletons in the hall, Evan continued walking deeper into the dungeon.
The hallway was quite large, and according to what he had learned from his grandparents, it normally took a party a few days to completely clear a Rank One dungeon.

After walking deeper into the hallway for some time, Evan found another group of tombstones.

After killing all the skeletons, Evan looked at the pile of bones, wondering if they would drop anything useful.
Unfortunately, he found nothing.
He shook his head and continued walking deeper into the dungeon.
Evan continued exploring the hallway for almost two hours.
During those two hours, he encountered the same Skeleton Soldiers five more times.
By now, he had already completed the first requirement of his evolution.
"I have killed more than two hundred Skeleton Soldiers by now. I think I will soon encounter a Rank One Skeleton."
Evan muttered as his eyes narrowed.
After fighting through another two waves of Skeleton Soldiers, Evan finally saw a different type of skeleton.
Unlike the others, this skeleton was standing alone.
It was wearing a set of heavily rusted armor, and a sword was held tightly in its bony hand.
The moment Evan saw it, he immediately realized that this was a Rank One skeleton.
He took a deep breath and prepared himself for a difficult battle.
Then, he suddenly dashed toward the skeleton at his full speed.
Before the skeleton could even react, Evan reached it and swung the Black Star with all his strength.

The sword struck the skeleton’s rusted armor.

However, the armor failed to stop the blade.
The Black Star continued through the armor, cutting through the skeleton’s body and shattering its bones.
In the next instant, the Rank One skeleton collapsed into a pile of broken bones.
Evan stared at the remains in disbelief and rubbed his eyes.
He then opened his Status Window to confirm whether the skeleton was truly dead.

After seeing the notification, Evan finally confirmed that the skeleton was indeed dead.
However, he still couldn’t understand how he had managed to kill a Rank One monster so easily.
Then, he suddenly realized what was happening.
’The dungeon has five floors, and since it’s a Rank One dungeon, there should be at least one Rank One monster on each floor.’
’Since this is only the first floor, the Rank One monster here should have only recently become a Rank One monster.’
Evan glanced at the information displayed on his Status Window.
Level 28.
This skeleton was even weaker than Mike.
Evan could easily defeat Mike even before killing the Silver Bear, so killing a monster that was weaker than Mike was practically effortless for him after receiving such a huge boost from killing the Silver Bear.
Evan looked around the pile of bones, but this skeleton also didn’t drop anything.
Shaking his head, he continued walking deeper into the hallway.
However, before he could take many steps, a notification suddenly appeared before him.
[You have reached the end of the first floor. You can enter the second floor now.]
A large black portal suddenly appeared in front of Evan.
He glanced at it for a moment before entering without hesitation.
The moment he stepped through the portal, his surroundings changed, and Evan appeared in another dark hallway.
However, unlike the first floor, bones were scattered everywhere across the floor.
Evan looked around and could see nothing except countless piles of bones.
A notification soon appeared before him.
[You have arrived at the second floor of the dungeon. To start exploring the second floor, say "Begin Exploration."]
Evan looked at the notification before opening his evolution requirements once again.
