Yandere Monster Evolution: My Blind Wife Will Become a Demonic Queen
Chapter 132: Tunnel"Now, that’s my kind of plan."
Black did not move his feet, but his dark mask shifted toward the collapsing ceiling. He was not a man who relied on standard magic. He did not use fire or ice.
He used weight.
Crack! Crack!
With just a flick of his wrist, all of the pillars began to crumble under the sudden increase in the gravity.
"Agis, now!" I yelled.
Seok did not hesitate. Miraculously, he knew what he had to do. He poured his blue mana into his spear until the weapon flared with a blinding light. He did not aim for the Elven Knight. Instead, he hurled the spear like a bolt of lightning straight into the weak archway above the entrance.
"Hana! Cast your barrier over Jisu and Grog! Now!" I commanded.
My voice broke Hana out of her fear. She raised her shaking staff. Her blue mana finally burst forward. "Agis!" she screamed.
A dome of clear blue light covered Jisu, Grog, and Hana.
The Elven Knight’s sapphire eyes narrowed. "Fools—"
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The spheres did not just explode. The moment they detonated, Black activated his true skill. A sudden, massive force of gravity slammed down on the pillars. The air itself seemed to groan. The weight on the pillars multiplied by a hundred times in a single second.
CRACK! RUMBLE!
The columns did not just fall; they were violently dragged down into the floor. The entire structural support of the dining hall’s entrance buckled. Thousands of tons of white marble, golden bricks, and heavy stone came crashing down like a sudden avalanche.
The Elven Knight had to stop his advance. He raised his massive greatsword, using his white mana to cleave a huge falling rock in two. But the sheer volume of the collapse was too fast. The gravity pull from Black’s spheres dragged the entire ceiling down on top of him.
Within seconds, the front entrance of the dining hall was completely buried. A massive mountain of shattered stone cut off the Elven archers and their powerful knight behind a thick, impassable wall of rubble.
The room became completely quiet. The only sounds left were our ragged breathing, light coughing, and the distant, muffled explosions from the dragons outside.
"Is... Is everyone alive?" Hana asked. Her voice was small. Her blue barrier flickered and disappeared, and she fell to her knees, completely exhausted.
"We’re breathing," Jisu wheezed. She was still sitting on the floor, helping Grog rest his back against a pile of broken stones. "But we won’t last long here. That knight is a monster. He will clear that rubble very soon."
Just as she finished speaking, another screen appeared in front of me.

Phew~
I let out a long breath. My shoulders slumped under my shirt. We had not fought the high-ranking entity directly. We had not changed his history. By using the environment and Black’s gravity, we had kept the timeline barely intact. We were still allowed to exist.
’Thank god,’
I turned my head toward the hidden passage behind the throne. The heavy golden seat had been pushed aside, showing a dark, staircase leading down into the earth. The Queen was holding her niece and nephew close. Their faces were white with terror, but they were not bleeding, at least.
Carmilla stood right at the edge of the dark opening. Her dark blade was still drawn, and her chest heaved up and down as she stared at the pile of stones we had just created. Her dull crimson eyes were wide, filled with shock, fear, and a deep sorrow.
She did not look at me. She looked at Vera.
Vera stood perfectly still beside me, her small hand tightly gripping my sleeve. She gave Carmilla a slow, very slight nod of her head.
"Thank you," Carmilla whispered while turning toward me.
"Don’t thank me yet," I said. My voice sounded cold, even to myself. "We still have to get down to the vaults. The war has started. If the King... if the King falls out there, we don’t know what worse situation that will lead to."
"Woo Jin," Vera whispered very softly. "The path below... it is not empty. The dark mana is already rising from the dark."
I stared into the dark, yawning mouth of the stone staircase.
Every step we took felt like a trap. I was trying so hard to remain a spectator, to let history flow exactly how it was written three hundred years ago. But the desperation in the room was real. Grog was severely injured. Hana could barely stand. Jisu was running low on mana. And out in the courtyard, a king was fighting a losing war against dragons and Elves alike.
We were caught between the rules of the system and the brutal reality of a slaughterhouse.
The air inside the staircase was freezing cold. The only light came from the faint blue glow of Seok’s spear and the small magical sparks Hana managed to keep alive at the tip of her staff.
We walked in a tight formation. Carmilla led the way with her mother and the young royal children, guiding them through the narrow stone hall. Seok stayed close to them, his eyes darting to every shadow. In the middle, Jisu practically carried Grog. The large hunter was groaning with every step, his boots dragging heavily against the stone.
Black walked near the back, his eyes fixed on the ceiling above us. He looked tense. His usual lazy posture was entirely gone. His hands remained near his waist, ready to alter the gravity of anything that moved.
I walked right beside Vera, holding her hand. Her palm was sweaty, but her grip was firm.
"Woo Jin," she murmured as we descended deeper into the dark. "The air is getting heavy. The pressure from the lower floor... it feels like mana is angry."
Why was there dark mana down here?
According to the historical records of the Great Fall in the articles of the S Rank Hunter, the lower vaults were supposed to be the safest sanctuary in the palace. It was where the royal family hid before the kingdom was completely wiped out. But the timeline was fractured. The variables we introduced were changing the small details, even if the grand end remained the same.
"GRRRAAAHHH!!!"
Suddenly, a loud scream echoed from the front of the line.
"Ah! Monsters!" one of the young cousins cried out, tripping over a loose stone.
"Get back!" Carmilla shouted.
Clang!
Her dark blade struck something in the dark. A bright spark of light showed a grotesque creature crouching on the stone wall. It looked like a wolf, but its skin was made of pitch-black shadow, and its eyes burned with a dark purple fire.
A shadow beast?
"The Gate’s corruption has already reached the basement!" Seok warned. He lunged forward, his blue spear piercing straight through the creature’s chest. The wolf dissolved into a cloud of black mist, but more growls began to echo from the deep darkness ahead.
Grrrr...
Ten... twenty... thirty pairs of purple eyes opened in the dark corridor before us. The narrow hallway was completely packed with shadow beasts. They were crawling on the floor, the walls, and the ceiling.
"Hana! Clear the path!" Jisu yelled, her red gauntlet flaring as she pushed Grog against the wall to protect him.
"I-I can’t!" Hana cried out. Her voice was shaking violently. "My mana channels... they feel clogged! The pressure down here is too strong!"
"Damn it!" Jisu cursed. She tried to step forward, but Grog stumbled, nearly falling over. "Grog, stay down!"
"I can fight..." Grog wheezed, a fresh stream of blood leaking from his mouth. "Just give me my sword..."
"You can’t even lift it!" Jisu screamed back, her face twisted in pure desperation.
The shadow beasts lunged all at once. They flew through the narrow corridor like a wave of dark liquid, their jaws open to tear us apart.
Tap.
Without anyone asking, Black stepped forward. He did not use an explosive this time. He simply extended his right hand toward the middle of the oncoming horde and pressed his palm downward.
CRUNCH!
An invisible, massive weight slammed into the center of the path. The shadow beasts in the front row were instantly flattened against the stone floor. The stone beneath them caved inward, creating a shallow dip.
Grrr...
The creatures hissed and howled, unable to lift their heads against the force of Black’s gravity.
But more beasts just ran over the bodies of their crushed comrades. They were mindless, driven only by the desire to kill.
"They aren’t stopping!" Seok shouted. He stabbed two more wolves, his movements fast and precise, but the narrow space restricted his spear movements. He could not swing his weapon properly without hitting the stone walls or the royal family behind him.
Carmilla was swinging her dark blade wildly.
Without her mana core, her strikes were purely physical. She managed to cut down a beast that jumped at her mother, but the impact sent her skidding back. Her boots slipped on the smooth stone, and she fell to one knee.
A massive shadow wolf jumped straight at her exposed neck, its purple jaws wide.
"Carmilla!" the Queen screamed.
I felt a cold shiver run down my spine. My hand moved to the dagger at my waist.
’If I don’t help, she dies. If she dies, the timeline breaks completely. But if I help the timeline still breaks.’
Before I could move, a crimson notification box flashed directly in front of my face, blinding me for a split second.
